‘Beaver Lake with Stargazer Lilies II (triptych),’ is an original mixed media giclée print on watercolor paper, signed by the artist in the right panel. In this piece, David Barnett has digitally manipulated his painting 'Beaver Lake with Stargazer Lilies II,' transforming the original watercolor from a landscape painting into a triptych. Whereas in the earlier painting flowers came together in ornately-detailed patterns, here they have been fragmented into three equal panels to emphasize the disjunction of these patterns. In this transformation, Barnett simultaneously collaborates with and abstracts his own work.
