In "City-New York" by Dan Muller you can see people dancing, walking, cars driving by, and buildings. Dan Muller's use of mixed media brings to life the chaos and excitement that comes from the uncertainty of a big city. The bright and ranging colors speak to the sense of serendipitous connection within a city that can otherwise be cold and overwhelming. Dan Muller is famous for his water color masterpieces and interpretations of humanity. This piece is a great example of his work at its finest.

Condition of artwork is Good. There is a slight bend on the bottom right corner of artwork. Tac holes (as pictured) from the artist hanging the painting to work on it. This is a very large mixed media work. Water color over pressed paper that has been collaged onto the background of the piece. Artist signed in the lower right and dated with a purple pastel.

Artist Bio:

Born in 1960 in Miles City, Montana, Dan spent most of his childhood in the Southern and central regions of Wisconsin. Dan's work is centered on the idea of using successive layers of transparent and opaque pigment along with pigment-impregnated rice paper to create a density of color that would not be possible solely by direct painting on the surface of the paper itself. He works to achieve an interplay of shapes and colors which will exist with equal freedom within that defined space, while striving to obtain a feeling of expansiveness no matter what the actual scale piece is.
