'Honeymoon' is an original springstone sculpture by the Zimbabwean artists Tendai Marowa and Stanley Chideu. The sculpture presents a tall and elegant figure. The figure is highly stylized in the manner of the Shona artists of Zimbabwe, with downcast almond eyes and square nose. The shape of the figure's pointed head is repeated again in the pointed shape of the leaf they hold at heir side The figure's clothing drapes over their body, emphasized by a rough chiseled texture contrasting with the smooth polish of the face and body. As is so beloved of the Shona artists, the composition of the sculpture fits the shape of the stone as it was quarried from the earth, and areas of the surface retain its original texture, such as the surface of the leaf.
