'Lovers' is an original springstone sculpture by the Zimbabwean artist Benjamin Mundara. The sculpture depicts a man and woman who, as is suggested by the title, are entwined in love's embrace. The couple leans in unison, one with eyes closed and the other's wide open. The abstract stylization of the sculpture allows for ambiguity in their actions: perhaps they are making love, perhaps they are dancing.
