Pissarro began working on this image in 1890. Delteil describes how impressions of the first seven states of the print are extremely rare, if not unique proofs. The eighth state, which this is an example of, was produced first in a numbered set of 10 impressions and then an additional 100 impressions published in the May 1st, 1904 publication of the 'Gazette des Beaux-Arts'. This impression is from this final edition of 100. The print is presented in a custom frame with a silver-finish wood moulding with acanthus details; silk matting and silver finish fillets; and protected behind Museum Glass to block 99% of UV rays while also reducing glare. All our framing is done to archival standards. 7.75 x 5 inches, plate 11 x 7.88 inches, sheet Ref: Delteil 93
