Katt Yanda is an artist who predominantly works in the medium of oil paintings but also works in pastels, sketches and watercolors. Ms.Yanda gathers her inspiration from her love of bold colors, animals, elements of nature and the flux of human emotion. Her artistic style lends itself to the German and Russian expressionist movement strong in color, movement and passion. Largely self-taught, Katt Yanda also studied at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) and has dedicated her adult life to learning art and expressing her emotions through her own original art works. In her own words "I have learned a great deal about myself, the beauty of other artists and the world of art itself".
